The Therty Ninth monthly Meeting of our Association was held on 9th November, 2025 in premises of Senior Citizen Association Meeting Hall at 5.00 PM.

Minutes of the 39th Meeting of the Association
Held on 9th November 2025 at 5:00 PM in Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall.
The 39th meeting of the Association was convened on 9th November 2025 at 5:00 PM in the Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall. As per the agenda, the following discussions, acknowledgements, and resolutions were presented and accepted by the members.
1. Welcome Address:
The General Secretary, Sri V. Narasimha Rao Garu, warmly welcomed the senior members to the 39th meeting of the Association.
2. Inviting Dignitaries onto the Dais:
The General Secretary invited all the members of the Executive Committee onto the dais.
3. Birthday Felicitations – November:
Members who have their birthdays in November were honoured with shawls and greeted:
o • Sri. T. Venkulu Goud Garu – 08/11/1947 – 78th Birthday.
Members who could not attend but were remembered and wished them in absentia:
o • Sri Ramana Muni Srinivasa Rao Garu – 19/11/1948 – 77th Birthday

The chit draw was conducted by Sri G. Venkateshwara Rao Garu.

5. Health Session:
The following steps have been taken for the healthcare of senior citizens.
Health Care – MOU with Star Hospitals:
An MOU was signed with Star Hospitals on 6 November 2025 for senior health care benefits.

The STAR SAMMAAN policy guidelines are given below.
Proof of age (Aadhaar, Passport, or any government-issued document) must be uploaded. Membership becomes active within 30 days of submitting the form.
Benefits of MOU (Memorandum Of Understanding):
1. Outpatient Services:
• Free outpatient registration.
• First consultation: 50% discount.
• Subsequent consultations: 30% discount.
2. Diagnostic Tests & Health Packages:
• Diagnostic tests: 20% discount (except those prescribed by external doctors).
• Health check packages: 15% discount.
3. Inpatient Services:
• 10% discount on total bill for cash payments.
4. Ambulance Services:
• Free 24x7 ambulance service within 10 km.
5. Pharmacy Benefits:
• 10% discount on bills over ₹1000.
• Free home delivery of medicines within 10 km.
6. Free Health Camp:
A free Mega Health Camp by Star Hospitals will be held on 23 November 2025, Sunday, 9AM to 2PM in Senior Citizen Bhavan.

6. Get-together Party – Kartika Vana-bhojanaalu:
As it was decided to organize Get-Together Party the Karthika Vanabhojanalu will be held on 13 November 2025 in the Association premises.
Each participant shall contribute ₹400.
The event will be held from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
7. Elder-Aid Services:
This organization provides senior support services in Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Pollachi.
Services include assistance with bank tasks, hospital visits, and other essential needs.

8. President’s Thought-Provoking Message:
The President requested all members not to post messages in the group that may hurt others’ beliefs or sentiments, or messages that are religiously, politically, or personally offensive, or those containing inappropriate unparliamentary language.
He shared an experience from a WhatsApp group of former students at his previous school, where members of different religions and political parties interacted harmoniously, congratulating one another irrespective of differences. He emphasized that if younger individuals could maintain such harmony, seniors must certainly do so.
He reminded members that the Association holds immense respect among political leaders, officials, and residents.
No member should post messages that may harm the Association’s dignity.
If any irrelevant or inappropriate message is posted, members are advised to ignore it politely and consider it a sign that the sender is active and healthy.
9. Vote of Thanks:
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Sri V. Narasimha Rao Garu.
